This workshop is designed specifically for online delivery with participants working from home. It is geared towards photographers keen to improve the formal quality of their photographs to develop a ‘professional look’ for their images. We will discuss the work of renowned photographers from past to present and explore space and light through a series of hands on activities. Technical advice will concentrate on critical exposure, image composition, perspective and visual language. Participants will receive a review of images taken during the workshop. (Up to 8 participants, minimum 4)

It is structured as a series of hands on activities that will improve your communication and directing skills. We will look at posing and placing your sitter, using available light successfully, and selecting lenses and camera settings. Each participant will receive individual feedback on their images and the workshop includes an overview of historic and contemporary practice in this exciting field of photography. This workshop requires friends and family willing to participate. (Up to 8 participants, minimum 4).
